Lt. Col. Janet Brigham, USAF, testing a Gen III I/O interface in a joint DARPA/Maerc Techno project.

Went a little overboard with this one… but when you’re designing the biggest, shiniest hammer of all time, everything in the world starts looking like a nail.

(Again, broadcasting from Japan... love these time zones.)

I really like this. Is it like an energy pad of some sort that she's on to have a HUD-virtual display type thing of her targets? :D

You could consider this the super slick DARPA "give us more money, Congress" promo piece... realistically she'd have like a forty pound backpack unit or a half dozen umbilicals. I threw the ellipse on the ground to suggest that she wasn't physically standing out the desert somewhere.

-Takira Electronics is going to have to step up their industrial espionage--this is all export-controlled gear.

-We all know that Dr. Deacon doesn't watch TV... he watches other people watching TV. Damn voyeur.

-Thanks! I doubt that I'll be cranking out very many character sketches that are as "sophisticated" as this work. It spoke to me, and that's why I had to take it as far as I did.
