Whenever there's one to pick up the pieces, there's always someone who broke something to begin with. Vimal has been in the human world for some time, taking colors slowly to get a body for himself.

Elisedd arrived at the lemon grove just in time for Vimal to climb from Jordis' bag. There was a reason her bag attracted nymphs, other color nymphs were telling him to go home, but to no avail. Vimal stole her color and left her graytone, more white than gray, but he had someone else's color with him in addition to Jordis'. Athanas tore forward to move Flossie away from the grove and to get Vancre and Nasu's attention. There was no getting their attention though. Athanas couldn't see Vimal anymore than he could see Elisedd. He managed to pull Flossie away, Amaryllis seemed preoccupied with...something. She was trying to get Elisedd's attention, but he spoke in colors which really didn't mean squat to her. How on earth was she supposed to respond to bright pink followed by a shade of orange and neon blue?

Nasu and Vancre - Nabuch and Vapid, immediately responded with a similar collection of colors. Vimal spoke in gray tones with black being his most saturated asset of speech. Vimal had come to this dimension seeking a body for interaction, but also seeking the same thing Nabuch and Vapid had originally sought. Red. Orange. Yellow. Green. Blue. Purple. She was nowhere to be found. The closest signature was Brenda. Elisedd was angry at the mention of those colors in sequence, he said something else and the ground went cyan, and all the lemons in the whole grove turned purple. There was some colorful discussion going on. Flossie was crying, as if she'd seen something like this before. Amaryllis was the only one to see it, and now her buddies were losing it.

At this point, you've got me imagining all this stuff happening in a very strange, slightly demented cartoon.

I envy this story, Spell. :)

It'd be a really freaky cartoon. I'm glad I nailed it to a 50 page short(after this is said and done and some other things calm down. THANKS PROF. [No really, thank you for the nudge.])

I'm still not sure what to make of the story, it kind of floobed into existence when Wulfsiege showed up. I'm glad you like it though! Here's hoping the ending does it justice.
