an ode to my childhood watching old school 50s cartoons were the food, trees clouds and everything would come alive and start dancing around having a merry old time.

fyi if your every bored look up classic cartoons and put on ska or punk and just sit and watch most songs I've found time up perfectly and just creates a whole new story than what was originally intended

I can see how a lot of those dances they would do would be not entirely unlike skanking...

Love your designs so far, by the way! :)

lol that part does help a lot but listening to some of the lyrics while it plays makes the story funnier also the old school tom and jerry when they were humans are my favorite to to this with theres one where they leave america and go to spain because of the prohibition and end up fighting a horde of bulls playing ska to that is hilarious during the fight scene because bulls are just going everywhere and getting a major smack down

and thanks i just wish i had time to atleast do line art on some of these...well maybe in the future

I've been spending minimal time on these (but i plan on any given one of them showing up in my comic), with an eye toward more detail later. Best to just get them out there for now. :)

I'm just not finding enough time to just sit and draw like i was expecting to this month. but i agree this challenge is more on making the characters if you can do a digital edit as well wonderful but coloring takes me 2-3 days usually if i haven't done the creature before as I'm trying to see what color palette works best. pencil sketches are the easiest for me to hammer out....if the time is available to me that is

I work 100% digitally, so I can bang one of these out in about 45ish minutes. But yeah, the idea is just to design. They don't need to look professional or anything. :)

as much as i would love too work 100% digitally i love the shading and detail i can work from a pencil drawing its so much more natural to me to design what i want in pencil first giving it shading and textures then remastering it digitally once I'm satisfied with the pencil layout. even if i change it a lot of the detail in the digital version i just feel more comfortable doing it by hand first so far only one comic page of mine has been done 100% digitally everything else has been hand drawn first
