ABPD Homicide Detective Paige Logan is very VERY good at what she does. Of course, it's hard not to be when your father is a spy and drills attention to detail, tactical awareness, body language, and self-defense into you at an early age.

Paige was never close to her parents. Her father, Frank Logan, was often away in unknown locations (and drilling the skills mentioned above into her when he WAS around). Her mother, Dr. Elizabeth O'Reardon, was often involved in this or that research. So Paige was most often in the care of her uncle, Father William O'Reardon.

Paige had a troubled adolescence. She would likely have ended up in juvenile detention had it not been for interference from one of her best friend's father: Detective James Murphy.

Murphy recently retired, and Paige has operated without a partner (but often "partnered" with this or that expert or federal liason, for example).

She learned a long time ago that the weird bits of any given case are best left unmentioned...
