A while back I commented on the "Ideas dump" forum with

I've never actually thought about Silence's design until now.

Trigger Warning below because it talks a little about suicide. Not anything major...just Silence trying to give his friend a reason for living.

"I can’t promise you happiness, but I will give you what you want most."

"And what is that? How could you know?"

"A purpose in life. A place where you belong. Every single person has some sort of role to play. If they didn't…why do they even exist? Why waste stardust on something that is pointless? Everyone, weather they know it or not, spend their entire life searching for where they belong in the universe."

"And when they find it?"

"They feel happy."

"Have you ever played with a puzzle before? Everyone, even you, is a piece of a puzzle where everyone has a place. Locked hand in hand with those surrounding them. Bathed in love and security of people who you somehow helped complete. What you did by ending your life…it left a piece missing…and it hurts the ones around you…because they know you fit rather well next to them…and you have completed them. That space will never be filled. That purpose never fulfilled…a puzzle left incomplete…and that is just sad."

I'm starting to get more characters designed for this because I really want to work with this idea.
